LEVEL 2 LIVE FIRE PISTOL COURSE – Introduction to Pistol Marksmanship
This one day course will cover the marksmanship principles in greater detail, will include pistol diagnostic by your instructor. Will also include shooting from various distances and developing skills relating to more accurate shooting. Shooting with one eye closed from a distance, and shooting with both eyes open from closer distance.
Requirement: Must have passed and obtained a Silver or Gold Rating on our Level 1 Pistol Course of Fire.
Required equipment: Shooter must bring the following items: Hearing protection, eye protection, centerfire semi-automatic pistol or double action revolver (rentals available), commercial handgun ammunition (400 rounds), water, lunch, clothes for inclement weather, closed toe footwear. Long sleeved shirt and long pants are highly recommended.
Disclaimer: Pistols to be used on this course should be in their original unmodified form as supplied by the manufacturer. Modified pistols to be accepted at the discretion of the training staff. Please contact us before attending course with a modified/upgraded pistol. RMR/mounted red dots notwithstanding.
AMMUNITION and GUN RENTALS
400 rounds of ammunition can be provided at market value for the required caliber. Currently for 9mm Luger, r 40S&W, 45ACP or 38Spl. For all other calibers please inquire.
Pistol rentals available during the course at a cost (available in 9mm, 40S&W, 38Spl and 45ACP)* (i.e. Glock, 1911, P320 or similar)
*Note: Only commercial ammunition is to be used in rented pistols. You may bring your own commercial ammunition or it will be provided at the costs indicated above.
A certificate of completion is issued at the end of the course.
**Special Note: Contrary to our regular training policy, because of the unpredictability caused by COVID lockdowns and curfews, we will refund courses for cancellations up to 4 weeks prior to the start of the course.
